If they’re beyond a 3rd degree Linkedin may not allow you to see all their information because they’re “out of network.” However, if you have their email you could attempt uploading it as a csv or syncing your contacts in settings. It may not work if their email is different and the connection request won’t be custom, but would be worth a try.
